Facing Death: peshmerga stories

Three stories worth telling of Peshmerga soldiers of Iraqi Kurdistan, in 9 shots.
Salman is a young soldier, who lost two legs, one arm, one eye and one ear on an ISIS explosive device few years ago during a military operation. “Only my soul is left”, he says.
Hoshyar is a brigadier general, who lost two legs on two separate devices. From then, he devoted his entire life to clear mines wherever he can find them, even in the front line, risking his own life every time. Seven public buildings are named after him, being him still alive. They consider him a hero.
Nasrin is a lieutenant colonel. Every member of her family works in the army. She lost her daughter during a battle against ISIS few years ago.
